Animal Kingdom, Orlando FL // Travel Photo Tour

Disney Animal Kingdom, Orlando FL

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the fourth of four theme parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. On a recent business trip, I had a little bit of time to pop into the park and explore for a little while. Disney Animal Kingdom in the month of February was between 70-80 degrees and sunshine, score!!

In any case, here are a few fun facts I learned while at the park, FUN FACTS: Alligators can run up to 10 miles per hour for a short distance and they can swim up to 20 miles per hour. Ostrich eggs weigh approximately 3 lbs each. Elephants eat up to 300 lbs of food per day at Animal Kingdom. The park covers more than 500 acres. The first birth at Animal Kingdom was a kudu, a large African antelope. And, approximately 250 species are represented here by over 1,000 animals! I enjoyed the park so much and I highly encourage you to plan a visit and check out all of these amazing animals. As always, I hope you enjoy these pics by Photography By Joyce Ann!
